H-CAP, a coalition of SEIU unions and healthcare employers and the only healthcare sector grantee in the Department of Labor’s Energy Training Partnership grant program, is developing a new green career ladder for environmental service workers for cleaner, greener hospitals and opportunities for advancement. The national program created by H-CAP and its partners in 4 regions (Seattle, Los Angeles, New York City, and Baltimore/DC) will help shape entry level training and education for this new pathway to environmental sustainability in the healthcare industry.
